This Ministry Organizes the congregation to work for those families who are experiencing times of scarcity, illness or some other area in which it is necessary to extend a helping hand. We are reaching out to people in need not only in the surrounding areas of Roanoke but little by little we have been extending help to other parts of the world. We believe that Jesus set the example. Jesus came to serve by Prioritizing the needs of others. Be part of our mission to reach those in need of a helping hand.

Helping our community

The purpose is to bless a Church family that is experiencing some need. Each family in the congregation contributes a donation of food to bless the family. This is done every 3 months or depending on the need in the congregation.

Nursing Home

God has given us the privilege as a Hispanic congregation to be able to minister to the lives of the elderly at South Roanoke Nursing Home, holding a Sunday service every second Sunday of the month, which consists of ministering to their lives with the word of God, praise and worship, and at the end a prayer for each elderly person and being able to have a time to share with them. It is a great Blessing to serve in the Roanoke community.

Seeing the need on the streets and that it is increasing every year, God put it in our hearts as a congregation to step forward in solidarity and project the love of Christ Jesus, bringing a plate of food to the needy on the streets of our Roanoke Community and sharing the Gospel of Jesus and the love of Christ to the homeless. This activity takes place every second Saturday of the month.

Help to other Countries

We know that there is a need not only in this place in Roanoke, but in the entire world and Every year, as a congregation there is the desire to serve others, not only in our community, but abroad. With the help of God, the congregation and everyone who has longed in their hearts to bless and contribute to the cause we have been able to get help to the following countries.

Orfanato en Africa

With the help of God, the congregation and our Missionary Marta and her team we were able to help the orphanage in Burundi, Africa. As a congregation we send two large boxes and one medium box of clothes for children from newborn to 8 years old. It was a great blessing to be able to help and collaborate, alleviating the need of the children a little with the help of God and the church.

Children's Soup Kitchen in Haiti

As a congregation we were able to send around 150 pairs of shoes to the children who attend the children's soup kitchen in Haiti. It was a blessing, helping children of different ages since we know the need and current situation of the country.

We had the privilege of helping Pastora Iluminada, who founded Casa Restauración in El Salvador. Two boxes full of non-perishable products for personal use and hygiene were donated.

We are currently helping the Canoa and Lindero locations in the Sagua de Tanamo Municipality in the province of Holguin, Cuba, sending a remittance each month, with which food supplies are purchased for around 12 families. Our goal is to be able to continue helping and increasing the number of families that receive help.

-Pray for God to provide resources through people and organizations.

-Pray for protection so that God protects the vulnerable, such as the sick, the elderly, the orphans, the poor and the widows.

-Pray, for Consolation and hope, ask that God send people willing to share the word of God and bring a word of hope to Afflicted hearts.
